Granted some of the candidates are great politicians,
but did you witness a TRUE LEADER. Someone who inspires
you enough to pound the pavement and campaign for them?

Think of the great leaders this country has had.
Do ANY of the candidates make you feel like they are
destined to be a true leader -- one who inspires the
world and is destined for true greatness in the anals
of time?

Just curious.

2. I think I don't have the ability to trust my first instincts the way I once did.
So all I can say is that anyone of those on stage tonight has my full hearted support at the moment. I plan on doing a lot more paying attention to not only what they are saying now, but what they did in the past seven years, its important to know how they handled what this country has had to deal with.

And yet deep down inside I don't think it will matter in the end, I don't think these guys plan on giving up the power they easily obtained, far too easy if you ask me. I hope my fear is baseless born of nothing more than simple paranoia.

3. Not Obama
He seems like a weakling to me. A bumbling smooth-talker who doesn't really stand for anything, and would cave in even if he did stand for something.

In terms of leadership, of the Presidential debate candidates I'd say, in no particular order:

Biden, Kucinich, Clinton, Dodd

19. Surely you jest?
Kucinich has about as much leadership quality as a smurf. Good ideas, yes...but no charisma or leadership qualities.

7. I haven't been inspired yet...
...by any of them. But there have been moments. When Obama gives impassioned speeches, like the one last week, I get chills, and even moved to tears. But in debates, he doesn't seem to have the same confidence. When Clinton answered that "gender" question tonight, I got chills then too. But ordinarily, she's not my favorite. I don't know if it's even plausible, if either of them would want it, but I'd find a Clinton/Obama ticket very interesting.

The only person who inspires me is the man who I found wholly UNinspiring in 2000: Al Gore. I'm just sorry he won't be running this time around. :(

The Americans and a number of other peoples waged revolutions to rid themselves of leaders.

30. Yes, it was JFK.
I was in high school. JFK got people to read more books and to take long walks, and to be better people. There's been nothing like it since. Honorable mention to George McGovern, the smartest man I have ever seen in government.

29. Kucinich and Dodd. Both use the constitution and the rule of law
in trying to get our country back on track. They are doing something about it, not just talking a good game. That in my book is real leadership.
