It is generally, a bullshit-fest !!!

I will watch the highlights ,the snippets, and the remarkable moments...

But in this modern era... I find it difficult to take any of them seriously.

disected selectively by the media, you don't get the truth and the entire story.

I'm still undecided, in no great hurry to settle on a candidate, so I enjoy hearing the candidates and more importantly, reading their body language and noting their reactions to both remarks by other candidates and to the questions they are asked.

13. No you are not wrong. As I said in another post, I feel the same way.

I don't have a favorite and I don't think any of them has told us anything worth supporting. All of them have taken one position or the other that leaves me cold. I did like Dennis but he wants to take away guns from law abiding citizens.

I don't believe anything coming from Hillary or Obama. Obama's anti boomer thing last week turned me away from him. I think Hillary's health care plan is like the ones that force you to buy insurance no matter how good it is.

I more than likely will not bother to vote next year. First time in my life I will have passed up a presidential election. I was Gene McCarthy worker when I got back from Vietnam. Today's campaigns just don't have what they did back then.

On edit, I am most disappointed at DU this year. I have never seen such a bunch of childish bull shit in my life when it comes to the support or opposition of the candidates. I really don't believe how far down we have sunk.

... than watch these focus-group-driven frauds give the long version of their 30-second TV ads, which we'll be privileged to watch at least seven thousand times once the primary season really kicks in. I see the only actual Democrat of the bunch got the least air time of all, as is the norm for American mass media.

It's just another exercise in begging for campaign money so they can crank out ever more sucky TV ads, which will drive devout TV watchers very near to plucking their eyes out and shoving chopsticks into their ears to spare them the horror of seeing and hearing them one more time.

So no, I can't watch the "debates," as they're laughingly called. I suppose somebody must have bashed BushCo a bit, and I hear Wolfie did his usual tough guy journalist routine, but IMO you've really got to be a political masochist before you'll get sucked into these fabricated arguments, which eloquently tell the back story of our total lack of political courage or leadership. I mean, DK the glaring exception, is this group supposed to represent the very best this country has to offer? No wonder we're seriesly screwn.

15. I was riveted in '04.

Couldn't sleep, checked the news every few hours throughout the day, I mean REALLY hopeful and riveted. I had my favorite, but even if he didn't lead the pack, there were GOOD options.

In '08, Gore and Kucinich are/were my choices. In the absence of those options, I really don't give a damn, they're all a bunch of kitty kats trying to cover up crap. Just pick somebody, let us vote anyone other than a republican, and move on.

What really annoys me is, Al Gore could make a declaration the day before voting, asking people to name him as a write-in nominee, and he'd win by a huge margin. I love the man, and respect what he's doing, but, damn. :(
