I am not watching the debates thread.
Edited on Thu Nov-15-07 10:33 PM by Botany
Sorry but I just can not do it tonight. I watched the last
debate and bits of some other ones but I went to the Arizona v
Oregon football game and "that is O.K."

BTW now if Florida beats LSU and Missouri beats KU and Oklahoma
beats Missouri .... Ohio State will be back in the National Title Game
after they whip Michigan.

And please no "stick up the butt" liberals running to the mods ....
Lounge Material ... Lounge Material please!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. I just poured a glass of bourbon...
and am about to sit down and watch the last few episodes of Six Feet Under. A "poor Blackwater, it's the media's fault!" argument with a Jesus fish-tattooed bimbette earlier today has driven me to it. No more politics...

Enjoy!

5. Cheers!
No more politics...

I remember after working for 3 months for a Congressional race in 2006
and less then 1 week after election day some talking head stated in about
'08 on NPR .... I put in a C.D.

8. Thanks!
I remember that as well ... I tuned it out and tried to enjoy the honeymoon for just a little while. Unfortunately, that's been shot to hell and back.

9. Well, it's a shortie...
but the bottle is within arm's reach. ;-) I made it through the "Nate" episode last night; phew, that was intense.

3. I still have not viewed a debate. Wake me up when we have a candidate.
If one of them calls me, I'll listen.

10. I'm in the same boat as you. I don't really know why but I am just not interested.
A lot of it has to do with the childish idiotic posts here by the supporters of the candidates. Just like the debates, nothing of substance is ever said. At least that's the way it seems to me. I may not even register to vote in the upcoming elections. I just moved to a new city and haven't registered yet.

If any of you anti Hillary people or anti Obama or you rabid Dennis freaks read this, you have turned more people off of this election than you have won support for your side.

6. Actually, you all missed a pretty good one. There was some debating
going on and great comments by kucinich in the little time he had...but he had more time than in the other "SO called Debates." The audience questions were excellent... But, there will be clips somewhere about it. Invading Iran was brought up by one questioner whose Marine Son who has served three tours of duty in Iraq was by her side. The answers on 'will we invade Iran' were very interesting.
