Just like Biden. Off at the end. CNN focused on Hillary & Obama. Edwards continues to draw distinctions between himself and Hillary and that's what he has to do. That's what people will remember when they go to the polls.

Hillary = Corporate America, Washington insiders, lobbyists.
Edwards = Everyday citizens

Sort of seems like a weird bunch of people in the audience, kind of smells to me! Guess some have to have others put on a "show" for them so it appears they are actually doing better than they appear!

I was a staunch Gore supporter. After he won the Nobel and didn't announce,
I knew it was over. I actually cried.

Then, I spent some time paying attention to the candidates.

I saw Edwards on "This Week" and I actually was about to walk away from the
television, when I heard him actually say the word, "neocon." I was amazed
that any politician would dare to call out the sacred (warmongering) cows
of politics.

I stayed seated and continued to listen. Edwards talked about the epidemic
of corruption, and how the entire system needs overhauling. He drilled down
into the corruption and explained how lobbyist money buys votes and drowns
out the people.

I couldn't believe it. A candidate who actually was progressive, and who was
paying attention to the critical issues. Edwards also handled the very cynical
and confrontational Stephanopolis like a champ.

I like Edwards because--like Gore--he was away from DC for a while. Time away
gives the good guys perspective. I think both Gore and Edwards gained courage
after they were out of the game. Edwards isn't beholden to anyone--
as so many politicians who've been playing the game for years.

I hope more Gore enthusiasts will take a look at Edwards. Listening to Edwards
has given me hope.

33. All this criticism of Edwards for being angry? THIS COUNTRY IS ANGRY.....

Angry that they elected Democrats to a majority to end this war in 2006 and the war in Iraq is still raging and our troops still dying.

Angry that Bush is pouring money into the pockets of his corporate buddies, running this country into the financial ditch, and protecting the deep pockets of his oil buddies, pharmaceutical buddies, and financial buddies.

Angry that 45 million people are still uninsured, children are unable to get healthcare because Bush vetoes the enabling legislation, etc.

Angry that they are being spied upon by their own government, that their constitutional rights have been trampled, that we have a government engaged in torture, secret prisons, and totally inept.

This country is ready to take back their country --they're angry and they are not going to take it anymore. AND EDWARDS is just the Man to begin that change.

Yet they want someone who understands them who is angry just like they are. The time for platitudes and false promises has passed.
