Exactly. He could literally change the course of civilization for the better from the position of POTUS. I think that after the past 8 years, much of the world would get behind him, too. He hasn't had to cast a vote since '93, and therefore people are able to project whatever they want upon him.

But he was a DLC centrist for all of his career. He was the Clinton administration's point-man for NAFTA.
