State Dept. IG answers allegations against him - C-Span 3 - 10 AM
State Dept. I.G. Responds

Howard Krongrad, the State Dept.'s Inspector General, answers allegations against him
during a House Oversight & Gov't. Reform Cmte. hearing. Employees claimed that the IG
interfered with investigations into contracting fraud in Iraq & Afghanistan. Krongard
was confirmed by the Senate in May 2005.

4. They're still in recess but
before they left to go vote on the floor, he was denying his brother sat on the board of Blackwater
even though his brother had been invited by Blackwater to join them and he was asked if he knew where
his brother was right now and he said he didn't know where his brother was right now. Then it was
announced that his brother had just checked into the hotel where Blackwater was having a conference!!!
