When asked about yesterday's Wail Street Journal's claim that we have better health care because of our productivity than Europe,

"That's predictable nonsense from the Wall Street Journal"

calls for the state of the US economy, health care, etc. This guy has his finger on something.

1. Greta Wodele on C-Span
Even better. :)

(Sorry about that irrelevant sidetrack; I just had to say it.)

3. Agreed.
It's amazing they have such an attractive woman on C-Span, the other women I've seen on there (not trying to be offensive but) look like your elder aunts who love to bake.

8. They might be tigers when not on the show. They're supposed to be boring...
the men are too. It's their policy.

Look, when you visit the C-Span studios, even the technicians are in business suits. I'm not kidding.

I read this article by Robert Kuttner not too long ago, very good stuff. The Democratic Leadership should read, "Liberalism, Socialism, and Democracy" http://www.prospect.org/cs/articles?article=liberalism_socialism_and_democracy

6. Last caller....
My husband (a steelworker) is making 4,5,6 times what he made in the '90s when interest rates were 13-18%.

Listen lady, I worked in a mill, and if you couldn't afford a home on steelworker wages in the '90s, you were blowing all your money on booze and lottery tickets. And if they were quoting you 13% interest on a mortgage back then, you were just another deadbeat freeper.
