Is Condoleeza Rice unhappy?
Edited on Tue Nov-13-07 04:04 AM by Liberal_in_LA
Her brow is often pinched in an unhappy grimace. Her body language doesn't say "I'm happy happy".

She's happy in this pic... getting some love from a conservative:

1. Maybe the truth about Baby Caligula* is finally dawning on her. That's enough to give anyone...
...the frownies. Maybe even a sleepless night or two.

2. The only thing she could theoretically be unhappy about
is that there aren't enough wars for her to be involved with.

She seems to be disturbingly ambivalent concerning the number of American troops and foreign citizens who are dying right now. She may even kinda enjoy it, considering the sick, aggressive, war mongering nature of BushCo.

War, of course, helps transform people into millionaires, through Blackwater USA contracts, Halliburton contracts, the Carlyle Group contracts, PNAC, etc.

So many rich people, so many dead.

5. Can't see why. Starting next year when the term is over she
will be the darling of the right wing circuit and will become one wealthy woman will appearances and probably one huge book deal. All is well with her. It's the rest of the country that suffers.

6. Who Cares?
And what has she to be unhappy about, anyway? She's healthy, insured, employed, no dependents, no ex- to deal with. All the boots she could want. Important people pretending to fawn over her. If she's unhappy, then there is some justice in the world....

Besides, she's probably got a retirement home in Paraguay and a promise that Laura will never set foot in it....

7. Condi has a tendency to glower.
For a "diplomat" she can seem very unapproachable, that's for sure.

Although I acknowledge bush's tendency to hire women for high positions (Rice, Sasquatch, Miers, etc.), I do wish he would go the rest of the way and hire competent women instead of the sycophantic suckups he invariably chooses.

Rice continues to fight the Cold War against the USSR, her academic specialty. Good luck with that!

Chubby Condi seemed much happier than Anorxy Condi.
Perhaps she's angry now that she's realized she'll probably be neither the first female nor the first black President?
