Merkel & Musharuf both called Biden BEFORE they talked to Shrub
about Pakistan and Iran!

I don't have a link. I just heard this on Mike Malloy's show!

OH MY GOD! Even THEY realize Joe would be a great foreign policy President!

1. I think Joe has a history with Pakistan. I've seen this mentioned before.
Someone will have the lowdown on it.

2. I think you're right, but I also think it speaks volumes that no-one
in the executive branch was judged as the appropriate person to contact.

3. I like Biden and he would be...
...a great foreign policy President.

Can you imagine being a world leader today? I would circumvent that
sniveling weasel in the White House every chance I got.

I can only guess how much of an unreasonable, petulant little toad he
is with other world leaders.

It pains my heart.

Biden would be a great President or a superb choice for Secretary of State.

17. In summary...
Edited on Tue Nov-13-07 09:49 AM by TwoSparkles
Bush is standing inside a door--waiting for Balkenende. He makes
some really stupid comment. I think Bush asks his aid to remind him
of the leader's name. He's a real snot when he asks the question.

Balkenende appears and walks through the doorway and Bush greets
him by shouting, "HEY! Jan Peter!" as if he's greeting a fraternity
brother. He manhandles him, while Balkenende remains poised and
dignified. Balkenende has an understated personality, and Bush's ADD-riddled
nonsense is so stark.

Bush kept saying "Jan Peter!" and then he invited him to sit down.

They sit down and as Bush belts out a Homer Simpsonesque "Dooooooooohhhhhh",
as if he plopped himself down at a WWF match. Bush sits through the meeting with
his legs spread and fidgeting the entire time. His speech is chopping and
so undignified, while this world leader sits quietly.

Here is an edited link. You can watch after work. I wish I could find
an uncut video. The edited link is funny, but the uncut version is really
where the humor (and disgust) is---because we get to see how our "leader" acts
around other world leaders. I'll keep looking for the raw footage.

11. As Biden himself says:
"Why would you vote for a president who WOULDN'T be a good Secretary of State?"

5. If Joe's seat is 'safe,' maybe he can be Secretary of State.
He has no chance to win, as has been proven before, but he would make a great Cabinet member, especially at State.

In fact, no matter which Dem candidate wins the nomination, the rest of them would make up an simply wonderful Cabinet.

8. I haven't really followed Biden, but perhaps he Would make
a great foreign policy president. To me what this post says is that Biden or Dodd or Kucinich or Gravel or Hillary or Obama or Edwards or anybody could do a better job than Dubya! Let's face it! Junior is an IDIOT!

P.S.: I am a Kucinich supporter! I assume you are supporting Biden. Whether Biden or someone else, best of luck to you with your candidate. I hope it's not Hillary (though she has many excellent leadership qualities and would, I am sure, make a VERY STRONG president), but Hillary or no, best of luck to you!

14. No one is better on foreign policy than Biden.
One of the reasons I support him is because foreign policy is my number one issue for the next administration.
All of the candidates have something positive to offer me on different issues, but to me foreign policy is my priority, and I want the best.

Good luck to Kucinich too!

Edited on Tue Nov-13-07 09:38 AM by youthere
Yes Biden has some votes that perplex me but when you look at the whole picture, he is by far the best candidate.
I just can't understand when I see posts like "I hate Biden because he voted for BillZ". The man has been in the senate for 35 years! Every candidate is going to have something in their record you don't agree with. The trick is, weighing that against the positives the candidate offers. When I do that, there's no contest. Biden.
