Carlyle announces $1.15 billion infrastructure fund
Washington Business Journal - by Neil Adler Staff Reporter

Carlyle partners on $1 billion education joint venture
The Carlyle Group said it has raised its first fund to invest in infrastructure projects and received equity commitments totaling $1.15 billion.

D.C.-based Carlyle, a private equity firm with more than $75 billion under management, said Carlyle Infrastructure Partners will primarily invest in U.S. and Canadian transportation and water infrastructure projects, generally ranging from $100 million to more than $1 billion in enterprise value.

Carlyle Infrastructure Partners was established in March 2006 and has 14 investment professionals in D.C. and New York. The fund will put money into transportation, water and wastewater facilities, including roads, bridges, tunnels, airports, maritime ports, transit projects and other public improvements.

Bill has been the playing the Pied Piper for BushInc's agenda - his job is to get reluctant Dems on board with the agenda......now...MARCH!

3. if wikipedia is to believed: Leviit, Kennard, Soros.
Arthur Levitt, Clinton's SEC Chairman
Bill Kennard, Clinton's FCC Chairman
George Soros

It also indicates that Poppy is no longer directly tied to Carlyle.

Again, its Wikipedia, so take it for what its worth

6. "Danger Will Robinson!!!"
Do we want to allow an unaccountable, private corporation to dictate the price of our water and/or our ability to travel?

Even the undereducated Bolivian's were able to see through THAT scam when the IMF and World bank tried to give their water rights to Bechtel.
