It was bad enough that so many Louisiana residents were left to drown. Then, they were warehoused in FEMA travel trailers for 2 years which, by the way, are full of toxic gases.
Here's an update on the story. New private testing (including by the Sierra Club) shows that the toxic gases are much worse than previously admitted by FEMA. There are still 52,000 people living in these trailers.

You may remember when this story first broke about a year ago. At that time, it was uncovered that FEMA lawyers ordered the agency to stop testing for toxic gases because it would increase their liability. If they could claim they didn't know about the problem, they would not have been liable, they said.
The following article describes how FEMA has told their employees not to enter the trailers they have stored because they are too toxic. But for the people living in them everyday, THERE IS NO REASON TO WORRY.
