If you want to make it easier on those of us who aren't convinced by any of the candidates yet, may I politely and humbly suggest a few things (and those of us feeling similarly, chime in with your own, please!)?
*Realize that most of us are putting the nation way above idealogical purity. If the case were opposite, the decision we make on ED would be very easy.
*There is no single issue for most of us.
*Please don't say that ideology A, B, or C doesn't belong at DU.
*Appreciate the fact that many of us are generally very loyal Democrats. Don't negate another's donated money, blood, sweat, and tears because they don't happen to agree with you--this hour; they might be your best pal on another.
*Engage us in reasonable debate. We should discuss what is troubling the base. It makes the party (I'm a very proud but very, very disgruntled Democrat) stronger.
*Understand that we're not voting for a celebrity, we're voting for someone we think can best rescue a faltering nation. Thank you for your consideration. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
BTW, I frequently call "bullshit" on the trivial sMSMut pushed on teevee. Media spin is my pet peeve. It's me taking the lazy-ass, lapdog, corporate media to task, not an endorsement of candidate B over candidate A. Thank you. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
BTW, Part II: I'm waiting to use my "Fun Run" goodies to the end. You might want to consider the implications of that...
