Impeachment may well be debated now, and her hands are clean. In fact, it was a good chunk of Republicans who enabled it.

I can't believe that she does not want impeachment, but I think she does not want the Democrats to suffer any backlash for "wasting the people's money on an unfounded investigation". The way it is unfolding is taking that argument off the table for republicans.

is that the motion to table failed.

At least when it isn't close, these guys know how the vote is going to go. Either they don't vote if they are going to be embarrased by the result, or, in this case, they didn't twist any arms to vote their way.

The Pukes pissed into the faces of Democrats for years.
Self respect demands bare knuckle payback with interest.
