6. Generally speaking, Americans are sick of the Clintons.
They are like that hillbilly family that rented out your garage apartment and refuse to leave once they can't make rent for the tenth time.

27. I'm much more sick of Bush, sport.
The Clintons never put us into ruinous debt and an endless, bloody, unwinnable quagmire.

Gas was $1.35 under Clinton, the Twin Towers were standing tall, the dollar was strong, and we had peace and prosperity. I guess that bothered you a whole bunch, huh, sport?

18. I'm not a huge HRC supporter, really, but I'd proudly vote for her
against any of the GOPers running. Maybe that's not really a ringing endorsement but it's how I feel. If there's a perfect candidate out there, I sure as hell wish someone would give me his or her name.

23. "there's a difference between being disappointed and having madmen in authority"
I'm certainly not a Naderite who believes that a Democrat that gets corporate money is indistinguishable from the Republicans, right? One thing we've learned is there's a difference between being disappointed and having madmen in authority.

21. It's the real DU, minus the trolls.
I thought DU was far more progressive than the recent posts indicate. I think this is a good test. Those who donate aren't "trolls", for lack of a better word.

And the reason that must be can be spelled like this:

M$M (Owned and Operated by Six war-profiteering mega-corporations, or is it five now?)
.

31. I'm a fan of Bill Clinton's...
and I guess the fact that he is married to one of the candidate's makes me like her a little more and perhaps be a bit more forgiving of any of her real (or perceived) short-comings.

32. I agree with you, Josiah1982, and welcome to DU!
We're so glad to have you with us!:toast:

I had the honor of hearing our former president speak in person when he came to my little burg to campaign for our Democratic congressional candidate last year. It was really quite a thrill; when I heard his voice, I had a hard time believing that it was really him, LOL. And there was an SRO crowd who came out to see and hear him in my very red district.:woohoo:

BTW, he's the only presidential candidate who I voted for that ever won, or took office is probably more accurate...:evilfrown:

34. Hi, Josiah1982!
You're more than welcome. I'm so glad that you found us...:-)

I was very fortunate to hear and see Bill Clinton speak since I live in a small town and in a red district. He was absolutely amazing, the best speaker that I've ever heard, which is saying something, and he totally had the crowd mesmerized. My friend actually got to shake his hand and said that he'd never wash it, LOL.:D

Rhiannon:hi:
