Better at least to be at war with someone who's trying to harm us, and at this rate it may be the only way to get them to knock off with the hazmat exports.

1. But, but, but why do you hate the free market?

(In my best freeper voice)

On a serious note, if we had people with a pair in DC they would close the borders to Chinese goods at this point

Oh never mind that Mattel and some others would be seriously hurt. On the bright side, factories would come back
here

2. We need the sweatshop labor
from China to make the iPods.

iPod maker admits breaking Chinese labor laws; says Apple approved sweatshop labor

"Apple Computer is getting into a deep PR mess over the antics of one of its Chinese partners," Nick Farrell reports for The Inquirer.

"After denying that it was running a sweatshop that would be familiar to Charles Dickens, Apple's Ipod manufacturer, Foxconn has finally admitted that it broken Chinese labour laws," Farrell reports.

3. You want to go to war against market capitalism? Bad boy!
Don't you know that the marketplace is the source of liberty, justice and the American way. You're a damn commie, obviously.

If only we could recall Incurious George.

8. We had to delay going to war last time due to lack of
inability to get our war-making uniforms from China. Do you think they'd produce the uniforms quicker if we declared war on them? And do you think we have anyone in Washington with enough memory cells and foresight to figure it out if we declared war on China? I say we don't.

9. Way past time for me.
I'm willing to try cutting off all diplomatic and economic ties first, though.

10. Here is a simpler act.
Figure out if what you are about to buy comes from China. If it does, do not buy it.

11. Outsourcing the Pentagon
Who benefits from the Politics and Economics of National Security?

Before "we" go to war, "we" would have to evaluate who the heck is running "our" war machine.
