2. I haven't been shocked or outraged here ever.

I will admit to being more than a little surprised at some of the comments by Obama supporters over the McGurkin thing though, but it never reached outrage.Anonymous people online aren't worth the blood pressure rise. :)

3. I'm more shocked by the things locked or vaporized
by the mods than I am shocked by anything an individual poster does.

4. DU has numbed me to what freepers say. I don't think a freeper can say anything
about a Dem that would make me angrier than what I've seen DUers say.

5. My boss's a Freeper, so I've been emailed all the shocking shit before it gets posted here
Funny how that works.

6. Being a cynic has it's advantages. It cuts down on "shock out outrage".

Especially about commentary found on a website.

7. I'm often outraged, but seldom shocked anymore.
Seldom is not the same as "never", though, so
I split the difference and voted for "hours ago".

8. I'm the lone "few months ago" vote.
The only time I was truly upset on DU was when someone posted a bunch of pictures showing the US in a negative light, in criticism of the Bush regime--and one of them was a piece of Nazi propaganda from the 40's, complete with "S.S." in the corner. Despite the clear anti-jew, anti-black imagery present within the poster, not to mention the context in which this heinous drawing was originally produced, they refused to take it down or acknowledge that there was anything wrong with it.

But that's about it.

14. No...it was more anti-kitty photos and was hilarious
once everyone started posting kitty pics. But then the dreaded tombstone. :( Perhaps there was more to the poster than met the eye. Still surprised me though.

11. Hardly ever
I think I was first outraged when the tsunami hit Indonesia and there were threads stating how Bush cause it with and underground nuclear device (or something). That just made me disgusted.

Overall though, it's just a bunch of anonymous people on the internet, I don't care what you think. ;)

12.  don't remember
I sometimes get disgusted, I laugh at the occasional ignoramous, occasionally I just sit back and wonder if all logic and reason has gone into hiding.

Most days I get a good laugh, alot of up to the minute news and some really well thought out posts.

16. No -- not by posters, BUT by DU rules re some subjects . . .
I think, sadly, that it leads to DUers being less well informed on some of the most urgent issues
of our time --- though they are needless to say the most controversial.

it was some really nasty thing about Molly Ivins on the day she died. I just couldn't beleive it, i'm not one to cry easily either but when i heard Molly had died i was crying.

20. I posted 'a few hours ago'...
as I do get shocked by the support for Ron Paul.

But the more serious things that have shocked me include a defence of Hitler a few weeks ago - by someone who did promptly get TS'd - and the occasional defence of Stalin. And the same poster that Bicoastal mentioned.
