MSNBC: No Rosie, So Who Should It Be
Who would you vote for putting on after Keith Olbermann? There's so many great hosts out there.

Ed Schultz, Thom Hartmann, Cenk Uygur, etc. Who else?

7. Maddow
I agree Maddow would be a very nice choice. No way on Janeane Garafolo. I like her, I agree with her points, terrible host. She can never seem to get a thought out in any kind of smooth delivery. Rachel has a great delivery.

47. No shit.
That was the LAST thing we needed, Rosie spouting off her stupid 9/11 whackjob conspiracy theories. I'm thrilled that she won't be allowed to do damage to our side in a public forum.

16. Rachel Maddow
Hartman has repeatedly stated he's not interested in TV. A video simulcast of Hartman's radio show? OK, but that ain't gonna work on MSNBC.

Rachel Maddow is the first, second and third choice. She's funny, highly intelligent, down to earth, looks good, has a great voice and has plenty of experience. She would surround herself with great contributors. She would be able to guide the development of the show. She would not get into pointless fights or have meltdowns. She is the total package.

She's good and already has a repertoire at MSNBC.

I thought there was rumor already a week or two ago that she was in?

on edit:

David Shuster as second choice.

33. Rachael Maddow. Definitely.
It's already evident in her segments with Olbermann that she has onscreen presence. She's smart. She's confidant. She would be perfect.

(I'm SO glad that the deal with Rosie fell through. That's NOT what we need.)

39. No question at all. Rachel Maddow.
She has proven herself on the box with her appearances on MSNBC (and less often on CNN). Bring in Kent Jones and they will have a show that is insightful, informative, and entertaining. Of course, GE may not want that.
