1. "I let it slip in miami..."
I wonder what that means? Did she talk about the deal before she was supposed to?

3. Sorta
From what I have heard, she did mention something of a deal for NBC not too long ago, so I guess MSNBC was part of it.

She is a bit too shrill for me.

Look, Rosie, *I* like you as a person, but you DON'T help. TELL me. Who benefits every time you shoot your mouth off. Not Dems/Libs/Progressives. I still love you.

I think the powers that be "choose" the most unlikable people to represent a strong left. Rosie is not one of them. When she speaks, people who might otherwise listen to a sound rational voice, lose it with her shrillish childish behavior. She is not a good representative for the left.
Updated for spelling

6. Well she could have a career as a poet
I know it's her blog and she could write it in whatever style she wants but what the hell is up with that?

Is she sending this out as a text message too?

12. I noticed that, too
She writes like a 12-year-old: No caps, using spelling like "b4", etc. It's not even poetry, just poorly-constructed inane rambling.

I like Rosie, but she needs to learn to construct a sentence in writing before she'll be taken seriously enough to be a pundit.

And, as others have mentioned, toning down the shrill voice would help, too.

14. Same thing here.
Her personal shrillness, proneness to believe in conspiracy theories and juvenile blogging style doesn't do it for me.

7. Very passionate... she speaks her mind
But possibly too much of a loose cannon. She's very good on democratic issues, but at times she can be very wrong (like in the Clay Aiken/Kelly Ripa incident).

8. Saw this on Olbermann tonight.
It was in the context of correcting Bill O's claims about NBC being part of the loony left and slipping in the ratings because of it. I'm glad it didn't work out. She really should be doing a game show or something more 'fluff'. Sure, she would draw attention to MSNBC, but unlike the saying, not all publicity IS good publicity. Besides, this allows me to continue to nurture my fantasy of Rachel Maddow having her own show.

Nothing against Rosie, but I don't think she'd be helping...

11. I love Rosie, she sticks her neck out.
She could play the lovable clown and get paid big bucks for it. But no, instead she tries to get the word out on important issues. She informed so many Americans who have their heads in the sand.

Our corporate owned media took her down.

15. Actually she took herself
down. Watch clips of how she speaks to people. She talks over them, does NOT enter into conversation and instead lectures and the tone of her voice sounds like a mother scolding children.

I don't think anyone is complaining about what she says but how she says it.

16. There are better choices out there other than Rosie
we need someone like Sam Seder or Rachel Maddow.
