"We tax work and subsidize poverty"
I heard some republican moron on the radio complaining that "we subsidize poverty, so we get more of it and we tax work so people are lazy and they don't want to work." Hey retard, should we tax poverty?! That doesn't make any sense. If you wanted to provide an incentive for work, quit giving tax loopholes for sending jobs overseas. Have investors pay the same rate as workers working for a W2. Argh, my head hurts!

2. "We subsidize corporations and tax the working poor"
I guess that just makes sense in the ethical void that is today's Republican Party. This is a very strange country these days.

4. And the WEALTHIER the Corporation, the more we subsidize them.
Our current setup steals from the poor and gives to the rich...
and gives even more to the OBSCENELY rich. It's not a viable
system; it cannot and will not last.

7. You're right, it's untenable
but how gloriously, obscenely sweet for those who profit most, until their greed and graft pull the whole creaking superstructure down on themselves, and the rest of us. All happily enabled and abetted by the GOP. And, sadly, by the occasional Democrat.

3. Has the moran tried to live off of all those wonderful welfare benefits?
I don't see him quitting his job and riding the welfare check express to a crappy apartment and endless government cheese.

We subsidize sending jobs overseas and replacing them with crap retail jobs that pay less, have no benefits, no set schedule, and no security. All of which is both anti-family and creating poverty.

And in case this bozo hasn't notices, people that make six, seven, eight figures a year don't stop working! It was true in the 1950's, when the top rate was 91%, it was true in the 60's, when the top rate was 75%, and it will be true a century from now.

6. A better question is has the moron tried to live without the interstate highway system or any road?
They are all paid through taxes.

"At least when I pay the oil companies $3, I get a gallon of gas. When I pay the gas tax (of only 18 cents I believe) I don't get anything" yeah, just the thing you drive on stupid!

even better are rural people that bitch about government programs. Ever heard of REA? You wouldn't even have electricity if not for a government program, so sthu

10. I'm sure he hikes to work...
wearing clothes made from non-federally-subsidized fabrics, avoiding both public roads and federal wildlife areas. I'm sure he also grows his own crops and kills his own meat to avoid the FDA and the USDA.

5. "It is the way of Heaven to take from those who have much

It is the way of man to take from those who have little
and give to those who have much"
