3. what I want for this is

a kind of clamp, or clasp.. It would be 2 pieces of plastic, the size of the hole in a chain link fence.. 1 piece male the other female.. They could be used to QUICKLY clamp a sheet with a message on it to a chain link fence along a highway..

They would need to be cheap too..

Is there any such thing?

4. Well.... since you brought it up, annabanana...

If I WAS going to fasten and run, I'd bring a good stapler with me and make sure I had enough of a loop at the end to pinch the paper back and staple.

Ah, but then, you could use sticky side velcro to adhere at the ends and it would be even FASTER.

That is how I might think to act... IF I was to .... ahem.. do this sort of thing.

7. We use those plastic zip ties

Poke a hole in the sign before you put it up. Hold it against the fence and thread the tie through. Takes maybe 5 seconds.
