Did someone forget to post "Hell froze over"?
Texas Prosecutors Halt Executions In Anticipation Of SCOTUS Decision

This is indeed interesting news:

Two prosecutors in Texas, the nation’s leader in executions, said Wednesday they will wait for a Supreme Court decision on lethal injection procedures before asking judges to set execution dates for death row inmates.

Roe Wilson, who handles death penalty appeals for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in the Houston area, said she also plans to ask a judge to withdraw the Feb. 26 execution date for a man convicted of killing a woman and her 2-year-old son.

Bell County District Attorney Henry Garza said he asked a judge to cancel a Jan. 24 execution for the same reason. “It just seemed to me that the writing was very apparent,” Garza said. “Now we’ll let them rule and we can come back in and act accordingly.”

1. He raped and murdered Melody Flowers and then stabbed her 2 yr old to death.
Sonnier was convicted in 1993 in the 1991 stabbing deaths of Melody
Flowers and her 2-year-old son, Patrick. Prosecutors said Sonnier lived in
the same Humble apartment complex as Flowers and had bothered her several
times, including 2 break-ins at her apartment. Both times, prosecutors and
witnesses said, Sonnier laughed and jokes about Flowers' fear.

I really don't care how they kill this worthless fuck.

2. This is about the action of Texas prosecutors.
Of late, many families the state alleges it is acting for, have found the execution did not bring closure.

I sincerely hope that Melody's family one day will find peace.
