Tropical Storm to hit Greenland?
Looking at the NOAA site this morning it looks like Noel will hit the southern coast of Greenland as a Tropical Storm and will continue to the interior as a Tropical Depression. After a summer long melting season that was characterized as extreme what will happen if all this tropical moisture falls as rain and not snow on the ice sheet?

4. It's a storm alright
it looks like the storm will cause the jet stream to be bent northwards. The forecast for Nuuk on the west coast of Greenland suggests temperatures above freezing, though according to this that's not uncommon. In the past hurricanes have ended up near Norway:

5. I was wondering if an abnormally warm weather system such as this
caused a huge chunk of glacier to slide in to the sea, would it create a tsunami?
