Didn't Shrub stop Clinton's presidential records from being released?
I'm sure I remember when Shrub announced Presidential directive 13233 back in 2001 that stopped some of Reagans records and most or all of his father's from release, he also included some of Clinton's. I'm sure I even remember BC saying it was OK by him to release them. I tried to research it but all I can find is the actual directive.

The press keeps hammering Hillary to release HER papers from her days as first lady, but I'm pretty sure they fall into the same catagory of "Presidential Papers" as Bill's do.

Do any of you remember anything about that, or is my old brain failing again?

2. I think they are looking for private letters between her
and Bill. He doesn't want them released and he is half of the equation.
Yes Bush did this for Regan and Bush and Bill. He will do it for himself also.

4. Private papers is NOT what Russert asked about last night.
He asked about memos and notes between her and Bill about the health care plan, speeches she may have written for Bill, advice she gave to Bill, etc. I suspect if it was only personal or private letters between her and Bill, there's NOTHING that could force those to be made public except those two people doing it themselves. Personal and private communications do not fall under the Presidential Records Act.

3. Do you have any idea where I might find any documentation on it?
I googled Presidential Papers, GW Bush moves father's papers, Presidential Directive 13233. I can't find ANYTHING that relates this to BC's papers, but I know I remember quite a bit of media coverage about it. I'm obviously not chosing the right words to search.

Got any ideas?

6. Thanks! My brain was stuck on Shrub's banning their release
and not on Clinton.
