"Arrivaderchi to all you little people* and your quaint longing for an honest or even half-way competent republicon government. Smirk, smirk, smirk. I'm off to hang with the other fat cat oil-and-munitions profiteering republcon homelander cronies. We need time to count up the Massive Booty we have been 'earning' from our Iraq Oil Crusade. Smirk, smirk, smirk."

3. I thought she quit D.C. a long time ago.
I guess the Bushies are like cockroaches. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't somewhere slinking in the dark, spreading disease.

8. You got that right! What will all those "little brown people" do ...
without this Christian Soldier to guide them? :sarcasm:

IMO, Karen Hughes and Condi Rice are an ideal tag-team of "Anti-Diplomats."

Yes Karen, gather your Bibles and get your flock out of the Middle East a.s.a.p.
AMEN and Thank You Sweet Jesus!

7. She never actually accomplished anything over there, did she?
Might as well as stayed home. At least things were already screwed up enough that she couldn't ADD too much to the mess. . .

9. Returning of her secret life of molesting children.
Isn't that what many Bushies do before, during and after their "family values" careers?

I think it is.

15. "Long term challenge"
Hughes said she plans to quit her job as undersecretary of state and return to Texas, although improving the world's view of the United States is a "long-term challenge" that will outlast her.

"This will take a number of years," Hughes said in an interview to announce her departure.

Improving the world's view of us is a long term challenge that will take a number of years. Quite an admission.

I wonder who we have to blame for that?

22. Proof that it's impossible to polish your own turd.
But to be fair, the BushCo turd pile is getting really big and stinky since nobody has even attempted to clean it up. I don't know if anyone (except Gore) is capable of fixing this.

25. Let's not mythologize Al Gore.
He's not Superman after all.

I did see him say that it was hard to see any easy way to clean up the problems we now have in this country (I'm paraphrasing from memory, of course).

That was in '06. Things have gotten worse since then.

Not that I'm putting down Al Gore. I'm disappointed that he's apparently not running. I think he'd be better than any of the current candidates. He's possibly the best man in the country for the job. But I wouldn't say that only Gore can fix our problems.

26. Not to worry...
She'll esconce herself under another rock snug as a bug like all the Emperor kissups. Besides, she can make much more money as a privatized 'consultant' than she ever could trying to force freed Bush's 'good emperor' image to those ungrateful Ayrabs. Besides, Bush is about to nuke the Persians and that means her diplomacy skills won't be needed anymore. Sometimes you just have to stop being so nice and diplomatic.
