Hell, I live in Connecticut and just fairly recently started thinking of him as a viable candidate, and I read DU and don't watch mainstream news. Something is wrong with this picture. He's doing great things that no one's talking about, like standing against the unconstitutional retroactive immunity for the telecomms companies, and has good, intelligent positions on many things and yet, no attention. Oh, wait, or maybe that's why no attention. :banghead:

10. I noticed that exact same thing!

He said Hillary said she supports drivers' licenses for immigrants, but she never said that. I'm no fan of Hillary, and I think her answer was a sort of doubletalk non-answer that avoids the question, but she didn't come out in favor of it, and for Tweety to say so is just... lying! There's no other word for it.

15. I'm liking Dodd more these days for sure. I was totally

frustrated with his treatment by the press--I had to keep switching to another channel every time Hillary got to respond and rehash her litany of all her experience etc--and guess what? Every time I tuned back in, there she was again---droning on and on.

When he said his position on drivers licenses, direct and most assuredly not pandering to the open border crowd (which is nuts because this issue polls > 70% against) I was shocked for I am so used to hearing pandering insanity in these debates I kind of drone out..
and that was most assuredly not pandering because you know the open border/special interests will be breathing down his neck in the morning for saying that.

so I checked his record on legislation and he has actually tried to get passed some fairly good trade, financial and tax incentives for working America.

So, he got my attention. Biden did too on foreign policy and normally I think Biden is a flake.

Richardson, when he said "I'm a CEO" I thought, yeah, I'll bet you are, bought and paid for and think he should drop out.

I hope both of them increase in the polls for they deserve some more attention and I hadn't really paid attention until this evening.

I don't get why he isn't farther up in the polls. Well, $$$. He seems like a guy who could just get shit done. No nonsense, but still out of the box thinker. I mean, decriminalize pot? Damn. I wasn't expecting that. Go Dodd.
