SoCal wildfires still having an effect -- 2400 miles away in Hawai'i!
Ye gods!

SOME HAZE HAS BEEN NOTED IN THE ATMOSPHERE AROUND THE ISLANDS OVER
THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS. THIS IS UNUSUAL FOR US DURING TIMES OF
MODERATE TRADE WINDS. A LOOK AT SATELLITE LOOPS OVER THE
WEEKEND...AND A RUN OF THE HYSPLIT MODEL DEFINITELY SUGGESTS THAT
THE HAZE AROUND THE ALOHA STATE IS FROM THE CALIFORNIA
WILDFIRES...AND IS NOT THE RESULT OF THE VOG THAT USUALLY BRINGS
HAZE TO THE STATE.

(vog = "volcanic fog" from Kilauea)

Wow. Just... wow!

1. We also got our own brush fires too....damn....its all those plants and shrubs fault for living too
close to humans...damn....
