Dear Friend,

Do you live near a nuclear power plant? You may not today, but if the nuclear power industry has their way, a lot more of us could have those radioactive smokestacks as neighbors.

Please join musicians Jackson Browne, Graham Nash, Bonnie Raitt as well as a growing list of concerned citizens in signing a petition to Congress that will stop a pending bailout of the nuclear power industry.

3. No Nukes was what got me into politics.
I was marching before I was old enough to even vote.

I find things to be even scarier now than they were then. :scared:

4. Agreed these times are scarier.
Seems those were the days, when someone would ask "Have you no decency sir?!" and everyone would gasp! Not to take anything away from how important it was back then (along w/ scary), and if we kept following pursuit of those goals (no nukes, in particular) we'd be better off now.

Did you attend any of the No Nuke Concerts?

I saw Jackson Browne, James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt at the Nassau Coliseum, during their No Nukes Tour.

5. I didn't see any of the concerts, but being a hardcore punk fan at the time that's understandable.
I may agree with their politics, but I can only take so much pleasant music. ;)
