Suspects named in alleged British Royal blackmailing scheme..

British prosecutors on Monday identified two men arrested after allegedly trying to blackmail a member of the Royal Family with a sex videotape.

Ian Strachan, 30, and Sean McGuigan, 40, are being held in custody until they appear at London's Central Criminal Court for a preliminary hearing on Dec. 20 on blackmail charges, prosecutors said.

Reports of the scandal emerged Sunday and reportedly involve a videotape of an aide confessing to a sex act with a member of the Royal Family — who can't be named because of a publication ban. The blackmailers also reportedly claimed to have evidence suggesting the Royal had supplied an aide with an envelope containing cocaine.
