Edited on Mon Oct-29-07 12:35 PM by tgnyc
Pat Philbin had just left to take a job at the Directorate of National Intelligence, but the DNI is now saying, 'we won't be needing his services, thank you.'

just on CNN. No link yet.

2. Wow, the neocons
are taking to heart the one and only lesson they learned after they fucked up katrina relief:

DO NOT LET OUR CONSERVATIVE VALUES BE SO BLATANTLY DRAGGED THROUGH THE MUD AND MADE SO PUBLIC AGAIN. (The best scenario is to keep our fuck ups off the radar, limbaugh and fox can assist with this.)

And sacrificing a coworker, no big deal.

3. Phony press conference, explain with a lie.
I've been hearing FEMA people say "Oh, we only did it cuz the reporters didn't get there in time." Now we hear that reporters weren't alllowed to ask any questions, just listen in. This has 'Cheney' written all over it.

5. They were given 15 minutes notice to show up in person..
Not surprising that none of them made it.

6. No doubt he already has a job in the "private sector"
Edited on Mon Oct-29-07 01:13 PM by Botany
AEI, Heritage Institute, Town Hall, Creative Response Concepts, the Lincoln Group,
Fox News, Clear Channel, Exxon, and ...

The idea that just a few "bad apples" are behind that con job is bull s***.
It had to go way way way to the top.
