Current TV has me hooked
I have not been here much of late, because I am spending more time elsewhere since Current tv launched its new site. I am hopelessly hooked on it. I am hooked on its revolutionary concept. I am hooked on being able to be the one who makes the news. I am hooked on the chance to hope that this site will create the dialogue we need especially among our young people to make a change in how we do things in this country. Current gives me what I am looking for, and I am so grateful to Al Gore, Joel Hyatt, and all those who are there who have truly given the people a place to express themselves. If you've yet to experience it, check it out:

http://www.current.com

I'm also working on getting a camera, and when I do I will be supporting this station even more and working to bring viewpoints to it that need to be discussed, like the global water crisis which is already being discussed there. For me, this is now where it's at.

Good luck to you all and I may come in once and while to post about the environment, or when I feel the need to be horsewhipped for daring to support Al Gore as I choose.

Peace.

1. As we used to say in Missouri, don't be a stranger.
I know we'll probably never agree on the propriety of asking Al to run, but your posts have been invaluable additions to awareness of the environmental issues we need to be addressing. I promise if you come back to DU to post on the environmental issues, I won't bring up whether or not Gore should run -- unless of course he's already thrown his hat into the ring at that point. :D

5.  Current TV is awesome.
I'm glad you found what you've been looking for.

Hopefully I'll be participating in the upcoming Town Hall Mr. Gore will be holding. I just need to borrow a cam!

As for being "horsewhipped", it's true that arrogance does come at a price and may cause much discomfort.

Good luck and I hope you've found a venue for the good work you do for the environment.

6. Current is good work. I'm glad you've found a more
comfortable venue for your support of Al Gore's efforts on behalf of our planet.

I hope one day you'll understand that many of us are as passionate for an Al Gore presidency as you are passionate about his environmental leadership. Anyone who continues to accomplish good things at the rate Al Gore does is perfectly capable of being president while pursuing his primary agenda.
