It may not work, or help, but you voting for who you want will make you feel better. Then, whomever gets the ultimate, primary vote, we can argue about that!:hi:

5. Seems a lot of people don't understand what I primary is FOR.
You vote for the person who you feel most represents where you're at. Not who you think "can win". I actually think a lot of people vote for the alleged "front runner" because they don't want to "waste their vote".. in the primary!

Is it me? Or does that make NO FUCKING SENSE WHATSOEVER?

Right now, I think I'm going to vote for Dodd. It was Kunich for a while, or maybe Edwards. But Dodd is looking good right now.

6. Wow. I'm liking Dodd, too. A lot. We will never find someone we
agree with totally, and I get ornery when someone is picked for me. Dodd sounds good to me also.

8. Oh, yeah, that'd work
By all means, we want a candidate who reflects our views, but loses to the Repuke who will force 4 more years of ruinous policies upon us. :sarcasm:

It's amazing how naive some people can be. I guess I've seen enough of the world to view it through jaundice-colored glasses. :smoke:

16. Don't you DARE tell me who to vote for in the primary, buddy.
First off, speculation about who "can win" is just that- speculation. And it's driven by the same jaundiced corporate media eye which told us John Kerry's war record made him "unassailable" in 2004. How well did that work out? Remember how Karl Rove was supposedly chomping at the bit to run against Dean and terrified of Kerry? Yeah, right. We bought that line nicely, didn't we.

Frankly, your "unbeatable candidate" may be my "deeply flawed nominee who will get clobbered." I don't know what particular brand of smarmy crud you're trying to peddle or who you think you're helping by peddling it, but I'm not buying. I will vote for who I DAMN WELL PLEASE in the primary, and I probably represent a far larger slice of Democratic Voters than you can fathom. The idea that any candidate is somehow automatically "entitled" to our support in the Primary is deeply fucking obnoxious.

For the Jaundice, maybe you should talk to a doctor.

9. Not me. Blue state people, go ahead and do that.
I vote for who I think has the best chance to win the electoral votes in my state.
Chances are slim that a Democrat will win my state, but we do have a Democratic governor, so it COULD happen. Also, there isn't one Democrat in the race who I couldn't support. They are all leaps and bounds better than any Republican.

21. Yes, I know that
I vote for the Democrat who I think can win the general in my state.
DK is not going to win my state in the general election.. no way in hell.
Bill Richardson or Hillary Clinton might have a chance, therefore I will vote for
one of them in the primary.

You see, I'm one of those evil people who want to win elections. The only good Republican is a loser Republican.
