3. I just watched that this morning! Then I watched the extras that didn't make the documentary.
Is she an awesome lady or what? Did you hear her raspy, labored breathing when she was doing her workout walk trying to get in shape for her NH trek?:scared: I thought she was going to collapse! She scared me to death! I could hear her breathing through the microphone. I thought for sure she'd call it off, but she kept on going! I have never admired anyone more that that fantastic lady!:loveya:

6. I know! I had a good laugh on that one! Leave it up to Woody to get a 94 year old lady high!
 That was great! Her son is pretty cool too, isn't he? He thought it was funny that she smoked pot with Woody.:) Great guy to support his mom the way he did/does.

Bravo Granny D. $250,000 and she won 34% of the vote. She might have won with some more help from the party.

And then she won the Powerball Lottery - what a great documentary.
We should have Rachel Maddow interview her on Air America. 97 and still going. Granny D rocks. :D

Her son was wonderful.

Add.

8. That was the asshole Judd Gregg who won the Powerball. Figures, doesn't it? How is it that these
Congress people keep winning all these lotteries, is what I want to know.:grr: Sensenbrenner has won 3 times?

Millionaire Congressman Wins Lottery for the Third Time!

Noted philosopher Rod Stewart once said, "Some guys have all the luck." That has never been more true than it is for James Sensenbrenner. He is a United States Congressman from Wisconsin. He is a multi-millionaire. He is one of the heirs to the Kimberly-Clark fortune (they make Kleenex tissues). And he has won the lottery not once, not twice, but three times!

The rich get richer. Jesus, leave a little for the rest of us. But you have to hand it to Sensenbrenner, it's his persistence that paid off. He first won the DC lottery in 1997 to the tune of $250,000. Then he won a $1,000 in the Wisconsin lottery last year. Now, just last week he hit the Wisconsin lottery for another $1,000.

This ought to be outlawed. Who could make that happen? Oh yeah, Jim Sensenbrenner. Even Sensenbrenner's Congressional district, which consists mainly of the Milwaukee suburbs, is the richest district in Wisconsin. This guy can't help but trip over money.

Speaking of which, he is also the US Congressman who has taken the most amount of free trips the last two years running. Of course, they're not free to you and me. Lobbyists pay for them and then Sensenbrenner makes sure they are taken care of (both sides of the aisle do this, of course, but Sensenbrenner is the reigning champ and has taken over $203,000 worth of free trips from lobbyists since 2000). How much money does this guy need? Does he not have enough to pay for his own damn trips?

But you have to hand it to Sensenbrenner. He is the model of persistence. He gets $10 worth of lottery tickets every single week. And the last drawing he won was for people who mail in at least $5 in losing tickets to win one of ten $1,000 prizes. Think about that? Here is a United States Congressman taking the time out to mail in losing lottery tickets for a chance at a second drawing.<snip>:(

9. I thought she won it.
The same thing happens here. I'm convinced it's a racket.
