the California emergency response should not be compared to Katrina
It should be compared to FEMA of the Clinton administration. I keep hearing in the news how they learned the lessons of Katrina. Well they DO NOT HAVE TO LEARN THOSE LESSONS because CLINTON WROTE THE BOOK ON IT. They lowered the bar so low with Katrina that ANYTHING looks like progress. But we should not pretend that the history of the world started in 2001. The bar should be FEMA during the Clinton administration which was a 1st class organization.
the catagory 4 that hit florida a year or two before. Bush was there in a heart beat, helping to hand out cases of water for photo ops. It also happened that Jeb was running for election that year......coincidence?
