M$M...Continues to do NO vs SanDiego to make "their point!"
Edited on Wed Oct-24-07 06:06 PM by KoKo01
I've watched this coverage by M$M off and on...and tonight (when I had more time) checked into CNN/MSNBC's Coverage.

It seems it's mostly about trying to do a "comparison" between NO and Fires in CA...and either on the one hand, promoting that FEMA and Swartzenegger are doing GOOD and Kathleen Blanco did bad or that the difference is that Qualcom Arena can serve Starbucks and give "Treats" to kids and provide clean cots and paperback books and all sorts of goodies..while they show endless pictures of "People of Color/NO's Natives standing outside that football stadium with trash at their feet after not eating or having proper restroom facilities for DAYS!

There's no Comparison between a Hurricane/Flood that devastates a fragmented part of the USA and what is going on with the Devastateing Fires that are ravaging San Diego area. The vegetation, climate and circumstances are TOTALLY DIFFERENT!

But the M$WHORE MEDIA wants to make this out into a Political EVENT where Dems are pitted against Repugs and that "Homeland Security" and Bush Murderer of Children have LEARNED. They are even trying to portray the Insurance Companies as SAVIORS of those in CA repeating showings over and over of some guy whose elderly mother had the Insurance Agent come and give him a check before he or his elderly mother had surveyed the Damage? That didn't happen in New Orleans and I doubt that it has happened in CA unless there was BIG MONEY POLICY involved in that insurance agent showing up to give check to CNN SHILL!

I am praying for our Californian's who are going through this...but the M$M Coverage is as BIASED in these early days as was NO's. I would like to think that the Bushies and Schwartzenegger got it RIGHT THIS TIME IN CA...but we WILL NEVER GET OVER "NEW ORLEANS!"

This is like grapes and pumpkins the comparison that CNN/MSNBC and probably the upcoming Network shows are going to do tonight. :-(

1. There's no logical comparison between the two events.
But, hey, logic never got in the way of reichwing propaganda.

2. Repulsive, isn't it?
A person would think it is all just a political event to hear it. I'm expecting a poll any second now. Which do you prefer? Rich Republicans or Poor Democrats?

4. I read an earlier post of yours...where you said that CA's aren't going to
know how it works out for them compared to NO's until they go back, survey the damage and wait for their insurance agent to come through for them...and when folks get tired of all that Starbucks at Qualcom Stadium...and (maybe the benevolence runs out from the donors) it might get sticky.

(I'm paraphrasing an earlier post of yours where you explained your view as a "first responder."

I agree...it remains to be seen if all this help for folks in CA is as big a Dog and Pony show as what happened along the Gulf Coast. Right now the M$M is portraying it as an "Excellent performance" by EVERYONE IN CA compared to that horrible Kathleen Blanco and those "people of color" who just didn't get out when the evacuation orders went into effect.

I think that Ray Nagin is never mentioned ...only Blanco...is a TIP OFF!

As I said, I hope Californians come out okay and so much better if the Bush Crime Family has learned...but once the smoke clears...it might seem different when the insurance companies start to give folks a hard time (after the initial handing out of checks for "PR Purposes" and folks start to wonder if these fired could have been contained if we didn't have so many National Guard and Equipment over in Iraq.

Global Climate Change plays a huge part in the CA fires...but that the media wants to spin it as Arsonists as the cause...and how valient the Governor was ...does make one wonder what's coming down the pike. Californians are vocal and have clout. It's very different from what goes on in the Gulf Coast...

6. MSM just wants to move along. They're thrilled with the opportunity to leave NO behind,
in favor of the New and Improved Disaster.
