Has * said or done anything about the fires in California yet?
It has been 4 days and yesterday a huge chunk of San Diego County
was given up to the fire.

Just thinking but sending help, FEMA, troops, and such things.
BTW has he even said anything?

2. Does California vote republican? his response is in direct proportion
to the loyalty to the fringe republicans so the answer is NO!

5. Southern California is so screwed. There's a reason the GOP wants to split their electoral votes
What I want to know is, how is Blackwater doin in that area that is holding a recall for local pols who allowed them to move in? Vote was to be by mail. Most voters are rural and pick up mail at post office. Post office burned down.

22. He should be screaming for bringing his Guard and equipment home
Our gov went to D.C. well ahead of fire season. Five of the MT Guard's 6 helicopters were in Iraq. Mt is a very large state. Schweitzer was everywhere he could get an audience or camera. We got our birds and their crews back last fall.

It was a good day.

Kissing GOP ass in D.C. does NOT get the job done. Brian Schweitzer proved that. Making the case, loud and clear to the people works wonders. He proved that too. Squeaking wheel and all that.

17. He doesn't say a lot about a lot of things...
He doesn't really seem to care if our country falls apart. Domestic issues simply don't matter to him. He doesn't care that the economy is collapsing, that a growing number of people cannot afford health or auto or homeowners insurance, that our infrastructure is collapsing, that EPA standards are no longer enforced and our air and water have become public health hazards again or that several areas of our country are facing water shortages. His economy is booming so he doesn't need to worry about insurance, his infrastructure consists of the White House and Highland Park and his ranch, and he probably only drinks bottled water and could care less what comes out of the tap in most people's kitchens. Or if any water comes out at all. He probably is drilling a well for his own water in Highland Park. He probably has well water on his ranch. He supposedly told someone at a "town hall" meeting, probably the last one he had, who complained that she was having a hard time making ends meet with two kids and no husband that she just needed to get another job and work harder. She already had two jobs. He doesn't care about us. He certainly doesn't care about California which didn't vote for him. Payback is a bitch as they say. And he is into payback. That is a Bush family tradition.

All he cares about his war in Iraq to get the oil and his planned war in Iran to get the oil. I truly believe he enjoys watching human misery. It's like an ultimate drug for him. He is evil. A spawn from Hell.

Doesn't the White House have cable t.v. ? Even Fox is giving this almost 24/7 coverage.

Speaking of, George is now talking about it...sounds just like his Katrina speech  Now talking about the Alaska Senator, "thank you for coming today...blah..blah..blah"

Remember Brownie's FEMA could never find Chertoff ? Chertoff needs to stay in DC and monitor this thing, not do a Bush "We Care About You" Tour.

26. Speaking for those of us in Southern California
we are hoping that he will ignore us--we'll be better off! Californians have known since Katrina that when our next natural disaster hits that we are basically on our own. Frankly, I think that's the best way because it keeps us from having any expectations from this corrupt joke of an administration.
