I have a friend in California who owns one of those "million-dollar houses."

She and her husband bought that house in 1985 for $150,000.00. They worked their asses off for over ten years, doing renovations THEMSELVES, and because of the general increase in property values there, now their house is worth over a million.

Is it THEIR FAULT that property values in their town increased in the twenty years they've owned that house?

I'm getting really disgusted with this jealousy and envy and callousness.
