And my sister called me as they were driving out of Scripps Ranch.

AN DIEGO -- San Diego officials ordered thousands of residents living around the Miramar Reservoir to evacuate Monday afternoon.

Everyone living in the area bounded by MCAS Miramar on the south, Scripps Poway Parkway on the north, Interstate 15 on the east and Highway 67 on the west has been told to pack their cars and leave, according to Monica Munoz of the San Diego Police Department.
