Some sobering numbers, Dems, ReBUGS and Inds are EQUAL...
http://americanresearchgroup.com/economy/
"Among Republicans (33% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 67% approve of the way Bush is handling his job and 23% disapprove. Among Democrats (39% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 2% approve and 97% disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job. Among independents (28% of adults registered to vote in the survey), 12% approve and 76% disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job as president.
----------------------------------------------

What this says is that the eligible voting population is almost evenly split between the two parties and independents.

Now someone explain to me why some of the stupid fucking Democratic candidates are courting votes from the evangelists? Evangelists appear to be the second most hated group by independents, after the Neo-CONS. I believe if I were advising a candidate which group to pander to it wouldn't be the twirly-eyed religious nuts.

1. Are you confusing "evangelists" and "evangelicals"?
Also, are you assuming that all evangelicals are conservative?

Where does your claim "Evangelists appear to be the second most hated group by independents, after the Neo-CONS" come from?

3. No, most evangelists are not evangelicals.

There are Catholic evangelists, and Episcopal evangelists, and Orthodox evangelists, and so forth.

I think that all evangelical Christians are meant to evangelise, but I'm not sure about that.

5. They're (Dems) missing the boat;
the GOP can only take seat by bribery and fraud.
