John Dean: "They're Radicals" The Republican Party Is A Threat To The Country
You suggest that the Republican Party is actually a threat to the country’s well-being.

I do. Any sane person who doesn’t is not aware of what’s happening. I sat down and began to surf (the Internet) here a minute ago and I noticed that Romney’s foreign affairs advisor says, “I would torture in a heartbeat.” Jesus! I can’t believe it. And of course Giuliani sounds like Cheney and Bush on steroids. “I gave my blood for the Republican Party” was the headline I caught a minute ago. It is not a party I recognize. To call themselves conservatives is ludicrous. They’re radicals. What the Republican Party has become all about is winning elections and power.

1. That's why the Democrats need a candidate that totally opposes
the views of those republican maniacs, we don't need a democratic candidate that tries to be like them. That's ridiculous.

5. Kicked and Recommended
I think many dems need to refresh themselves with the knowledge of where their political opponents are coming from as it seems it's more than just politicing going on here by the republicon party. They really are dangerous as they not only start wars and take away our rights, but they have designs on our country that is contrary to what this country is about and stands for. If we were to try and take back the country they would claim terrorism and impose martial law with them in complete control. Even an assassination attempt on any of the key coup personnel would also result in that occurrence. Unless the democratic party wakes the hell up and does some radically needed things we will find that we are either a new fascist state or in a civil war. Everytime I hear Pelosi heehawing or Clinton's antics I feel we are in real trouble here people as they have caved to the likes of these fascists either willingly or under threat.

9. John Dean says Guiliani is the scariest candidate for him.
Ron Paul is the least scary.

I think that both Romney and Ghouli are cut from the Bush-egomaniac mold.

I guess I hope McCain wins the nomination, if Paul doesn't.

10. He points out something I long have noticed...
"They got all these factions and the glue that once held them all together initially was anti-communism, and when that enemy left, it became liberalism, whatever that meant to them."

When the Soviet bloc fizzled out in the late 1980s, there was no longer a need for the huge propaganda machine that the powers-that-be built up against the Communists. But instead of dismantling it, they just aimed it full-force against domestic liberals and Democrats...and The Mighty Wurlitzer continues to this day.
