CONSERVATIVES WON'T PAY FOR ANYBODY ELSE, BUT INSIST ON EVERYONE ELSE'S PAYING FOR THEM
Edited on Thu Oct-18-07 06:34 PM by redacted
This is what all the debate boils down to. All greed, all the time.

They don't complain about THEIR socialized medicine (medicare) or socialized water treatment, socialized freeways, socialized sewer systems, socialized police, socialized fire & rescue, socialized good suburban schools for their kids, etc.

They want all those things. For them. But ONLY for them.

They just don't want anything else for anybody else. Because nobody else, but them, "deserves" anything.

Like health care for 4-year old sick little kids. They don't DESERVE it. They aren't WORTH it.

1. you "hit the nail on the head".
they're also in favor of the death penalty because they don't want to pay for people in prisons.

i find the conservative attitude to be "i've got mine -- i don't care anyone else".

Lockheed Martin
Boeing
Raytheon
Northrop Grumman
General Dynamics
United Technologies
Litton Industries
Halliburton

And all the rest of those blood soaked money grubbers getting rich on taxpayer dollars spent on bush's illegal war in Iraq.

14. Other than Boeing, ever seen any one of those bastards try & build a commercial
product that people would want to buy? The results are uniformly tragic. Those places exist solely as government money piss pots (including Boeing defense)

of more economically middle-class Americans who are so up to their eyeballs in debt that they think a few dollars here or there make the difference between economic life or death. Hence, their "I'm not paying taxes for anyone else's needs" attitude.

22. Pull themselves up by the bootstraps is the biggest load of bullshit there is
Nobody does it alone. No one in the history of the world has ever done it entirely on his own.

Warren Buffet would be the first to tell you that he had help to get where he is. Similar thoughts have been expressed by John Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, and other people who are grateful for having help with their bootstraps.

"No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself or get all the credit for doing it."
— Andrew Carnegie

Edited on Fri Oct-19-07 01:49 PM by TahitiNut
Obviously, those who advocate taxation of smokers to pay for childrens' health care are every bit as corrupt as reich wing conservatives.

:eyes:

The incredible, fucking irony of this thread .. at this time. Unfuckingreal.
