4. I'm using Rethug Logic

Their new thing is that the Democrats want to stay the course by not supporting Bushes surge; When in fact the democrats want to get out of Iraq and end the war.

3. And, we were going to stop them how, exactly?
Bush was going to invade Iraq regardless of anything anyone did, including Congress.

6. Facts!
Facts and reality do not matter; so, Democrats had no power the last 6 years, but that should not be used as an excuse.

19. Even though they/we might not have been able to stop them, it was essential
to stand up and try with every possible tool and strategy, with the last measure of ability, with the last breath we have. This is what we have been looking for, and been denied, by the craven poitiwhores in DC. This is one of the biggest reason's that most view politics as a waste of time and don't vote at all.

7. And Democrats handed the White House to Bush because of the 1994 gun ban
It's a little something called post hoc, ergo proctor hoc. Sometimes Event A happens because of Event B, but you have to be able to prove your equations and show your work, because the teacher is still stressed out over little Georgie's abysmal performance on his US Government test...

11. Sensenbrenner style logic
First howl that the dems are rabid dogs. Then accuse them of cowardice for not using the power of the purse.

I'm trying to point out the terrible logic and sleezy spin the Rethugs are using about the war.

14. No No No
It was not the Democrats that started the war.

It was the Iraqi people that started it.

Because they did not overthrow Saddam Hussein when Poppa Bush wanted it to happen.

Shrub did the only thing he could do -- because the Iraqi people failed to do what they were supposed to do.

We should wage war on the Iraqi people for their lack of following the dictates of their American masters.

:sarcasm:

16. The Logical course of Action then...
...Is to attack Iran and punish the Iranians for not overthrowing their government.

This logic kicks ass.

18. You Got It!
It's the same logic used during Viet Nam.

We had to bomb the North Vietnames because they failed to understand the wishes of the American Regime.

And, because they failed to do what the American Regime wanted, the North Vietnames people had to be punished. With napalm and other weapons.

The American regime is always like Eric Cartman: "Respect My Authoritay -- or else".

21. .
And here I thought you were going to say that the Democrats started the war in Iraq because Clinton had been bombing Iraq throughout sanctions for the full term of his presidency, alongside starving some million Iraqi kids to death.
