1. I doubt we can over ride the veto
It's rare for a bill to pick up votes in order to override a veto. It's normally that it passes by a veto-proof margin and then a few votes fall off the total due to pressure from the president...

4. yeah agreed. I ran into a list of things Schwartzenegger recently vetoed here
in CA. It's just sick that these bastards can wield so much power.

but are twenty votes short in the House. Looks like House repukes are going to hang tight on this with the Pretzeldent.

6. Hopefully, quite a number of those hanging tight with W can be knocked off
in the 08 election. The Dems should beat them like a drum over this issue...

5. Probably won't be able to override in the House. We then should all demand the House reps. give up
their taxpaid insurance.
