Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) despicable SCHIP push poll...
...that's actually quite hilarious also. Especially since the poll is backfiring on her. GO VOTE!

http://blackburn.house.gov/

Do you support raising taxes to expand the SCHP program that would provide health care to disadvantage children, while allowing illegal immigrants easier access to free, taxpayer-funded health care?

No -- I already pay too much in taxes and don't want to fund illegal immigrant health care 5.68 % (50)

Yes -- I believe in further expanding the welfare state and creating an additional entitlement program. 92.16 % (811)

Yes -- But, we need reauthorize the program as it was originally intended with minimal additional taxes. 2.16 % (19)

9. How does a rethug respond to the results?
Will she act like it never happened, deny she ever created the poll, or try to word the next one thusly:

"Do you support raising taxes to fund entitlement health care for children who don't need it and would actually harm them while killing baby seals and allowing illegal welfare immigrants to become gay abortionists?"

8. Some of the rejected versions of this poll
"Do you support your tax dollars going to expand the SCHP program that would provide health care insurance to militant Islamists in this country so they'll be healthy enough to blow up the town water tower?"

"Do you support expanding the S-CHP program, even if it meant an angel would die?"

"Do you support handing over the federal S-CHP program to Michael Moore, Jane Fonda and the Dixie Chicks to enslave physicians and force your children to see Cuban abortionists?"

"Do you support raising taxes to expand the SCHP program, even if the money will really be spent by Congress on buying more fake medals for John Kerry and buying a luxury superjet for Nancy Pelosi?"

15. Blackbuun is a real Republican.
Any social program is anathema. In order not to appear absolutely
heartless, GOP believes in only assisting the poorest of the poor.

They are great AT PLAYING one group against another. Their
chess move always has to be taxes. They have a way of always
making it sound like the government is taking some poor working
stiff's taxes to support lazy ne'er to wellers. Now they are
pushing "poor working stiff is being asked to pay for upper
middle class to have health care for their kids.

Blackburn is on TV along with every other Republican who can
bully their way in . We support the poor. This program
wants to pay for people making 83,000 dollars a year.
Using taxpayers money to give health care to people making
over 80,000 dollars a year. This is their sound bite.

I have yet to see any further explanation or contradiction.

16. She is my congressperson
I just called her office to ask if she would be voting to override the s-chip veto like the majority of her constituents were voting for on her on line poll. The receptionist did not seem to know about the poll and was not sure of the way she would be voting but she would pass along my remarks.

31. My Poll Question
Would You Support A Congressional House Representative Who Never Took The Time To Learn The Name Of The Last Soldier From Her District Killed In Iraq?

Yes I Would......... Because like her, I don't give a dam as long as it's not a family member.

No I Would Not...... Because I am not a lying war mongering hypocrit.

Not Sure............ Because nobody can really be that dispicably contemptuous, can they?
