1. I'm assuming this is a relation to Paul Tsongas?
I recall the Concord Coalition very well, but hadn't followed anything since 92...

3. His wife.
She's replacing Marty Meehan, who retired and is now on the board of UMASS.

5. Wow... this sounds good.
Paul was way ahead of his time. I became "aware" after that race. So many things have changed.

All things good for her, then.

9. Let's not get overconfident.
It bothers me that it was so close for Massachusetts to maintain a Democratic district.

:wtf: Why was it so close?
What made this election so close? The GOP is extremly unpopular in Massachusetts.

17. It is that particular area
There is a pocket of red there that gave the GOP hope so they sunk alot into this guy who's brother was a 911 pilot. YOu also need to remember that the Boston area lost alot of people on 911 too, so the adds tugged at some heartstrings.

Some talking head...maybe Tweety? was reporting on this election today and actually said Ogonowski had a "chance" of winning this election.:eyes: Man, they will spin against Democrats every chance they get.

Congratulations, Niki!!!!:bounce::woohoo:
