Well, she is a victim, and I wish her a quick recovery. Why would anyone try and exploit this. Violent crime can happen to anyone, and it is a horrific thing.

I was looking at a story about this on a blog and the comments by the Bushies and Freepers were quite telling. It boils down to these couple paraphrases, which sums up the gist of Brownshirt/Freeper "logic".

"How surprising that a person got mugged in Berlin!"

"This will improve the Jew's looks."

"The Jews always jump to conclusions that a Nazi did it every time a Jew is mysteriously beaten but not robbed. Silly Jews. No wonder no one listens to them."

I imagine these same things must have been said all throughout Germany in repsonse to attacks on Jews, by the Nazis and their dupes.

Not much has changed in the past sixty years? Not very much, psychologically-speaking.

The truth is, we need to wait for more facts before this conclusion we have come to, which has at least a 70% chance of being true, can be confirmed. Let us hear Randi's description specifically of the attack and see the police report.

I would say we should also wait for the perps to be caught, but in Bushie Amerika the attackers of Liberals and other Enemies of the State never seem to be able to be found...

No one here would laugh at something so horrible happening to anyone. I have seen the reactions of DU members when someone from the Republican side gets ill or has a tragedy. The majority on DU will offer up good thoughts and/or prayers for them. I know Randi will be alright. She is very strong and has tons of listeners who love her and are praying for her right now. Shame on those freepers. I hope they don't think that going to church on Sunday will wash away what they have said.
