Al Gore will succeed, again.
Edited on Mon Oct-15-07 09:11 PM by Labors of Hercules
President Gore,

the wisdom and sheer skill that you are bringing to the world stage is truly awe-inspiring. I agree with you that there is no better way to open the flood gates of true democracy than by investing freely in the best tools of social discourse we can devise, and by making them readily available and attractive to even the laziest of minds.

It is a brilliant campaign, both for the emancipation of the public forum and for your more timely objective...

You succeeded before sir, and you will do it again. We will make sure of it.

All the best,

LOH

(edited to add: again).

21. The right man at the right time. We don't often get that match and
we desperately need Gore now.

2. Al Gore has already succeeded...
...when was the last time, in recent memory, that so many people felt so strongly about one person running for the highest office in the land?

He was already elected once via the popular vote, and the Supreme Court took the title away from him. There's a sense of closure between Al Gore and his destiny to serve the American people that will not remain unsatisfied forever. Winning the Nobel Prize was a wonderful accomplishment. It was also not the final chapter.

14. He's the next JFK...I feel it so strongly I can almost taste it.
Re Al Gore has already succeeded...when was the last time, in recent memory, that so many people felt so strongly about one person running for the highest office in the land?

The groundswell from the grassroots must be both guided and echoed from on high. I would not be at all surprised to learn that Al Gore has had actual visions of JFK and messages from him...NOT that he'd ever admit it except posthumously, of course.

16. Yes. A virtual beer or anything you want, virtual.
I hope he runs, but from all things I've read and seen, it does not seem possible. I love the guy, and I hope you are right. I just don't see it happening.

to Al Gore.

He can't even keep his hands off the cruellers!

Go Al, all I ask is that you run for president, I can skip the myths.

a world statesman on a scale greater than Big Dog himself, a fact I would never have imagined a few years ago. I don't think he'll run for POTUS again but who knows maybe he could be appointed to something in the UN.
