Tweety's Interview with Crosby Stills and Graham Nash...will leave tears running down....Tape It!
Windsock Tweety manages to pull an incredible interview with Stills & Nash where they talk about how Religious leaders MUST GET INVOLVED with IRAQ. They were on with Matthews promoting:

Stills & Nash...Prayer for Peace Concert from Washington's National Cathedral...tomorrow night.

Tweety talks about his experience at UNC in NC where he said there were protests against Vietnam and contrasts it with him going to St. Patricks Cathedral in NY where he was asked to "pray for success of our latest Military Campaign in Iraq." The discussion moved on to Tweety, discussing with Stills & Nash about how our Churches have not engaged in discussion about this war... (As usual, Tweety doesn't mention the churches WHO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED ...but then he's part of Opus Dei...so he gets a pass).

Anyway, I'm sure there will be You Tube clips of this...but it was a segment that really goes to the gut...even with Matthews feigned radicalism...the whole segment is one we here would care about.

Catch Tweety Repeat on MSNBC.... The segment is about 20 Minutes into the show...but David Schuster's report at the beginning is an interesting watch, also...so you you won't wast time.

1. I concur; that was really good, and more importantly, I'm so glad
the old rockers, my generation, are finally getting involved.

David Crosby (Stephen Stills wasn't there) and Graham Nash were terrific. They were right, too.

:bounce:

"TEACH YOUR CHILDREN" by Graham Nash

You who are on the road

Must have a code that you can live by

And so become yourself

Because the past is just a goodbye.

Teach your children well,

Their father's hell did slowly go by,

And feed them on your dreams,

The one they pick's the one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why; if they told you, you would cry,

So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

And you of tender years

Can't know the fears that your elders grew by,

And so please help them with your youth,

They seek the truth before they can die.

Teach your parents well,

Their children's hell will slowly go by,

And feed them on your dreams,

The one they pick's, the one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why; if they told you, you would cry,

So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.
