Hey, have any of you here been to the sodaheads forum? ... I've been fighting tooth and nail to convince people that high school kids need to be educated on the subject of birth control and the use of CONDOMS as a major PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE ... all I get back are comments about religion and abstinence and "fornication" ...

This site needs LIBERALS ... run, please, don't walk to sodahead ... they need enlightening in the worst way ...

I was attacked by a NURSE because I spoke against HER church and HER Pope? ... it's scary over there man ... AND it's about 1 liberal for every FIVE bible conservatives ... HELP!! ....

There are so many bright kids trying to hold their own, but they just don't have the needed tactics to deal with the "gang mentality" present ... they need help and educating ... what good are we if we just sit around patting each other on the back, spouting our truths here, and sharing links when there is so much more to be done? ... it's great support for each other but it isn't teaching a thing OR sharing the gift of our knowledge ... There are many people there who are UNDECIDED on so many issues who need to hear intelligent arguments ...

I've been attacked and called just about everything one can think of for speaking in complete sentences and expressing concern over a PUBLIC HEALTH ISSUE ... somehow they consider me a bitch, nasty, hateful, blah blah blah ... I try to calmy explain that people are dying and perhaps rather then view this as simply a religious issue, or sex education, or teenage birth control the larger problem is over population and dangerous diseases ... they are busy "praying" for me at the moment (now that they took a break from attacking me or swearing at me) ... ROTFLMAO! ... I can't imagine being one of their teenage children and even attempting a dialogue with any one of them ... sheesh ...

Faith is faith and having some spirituality is spirituality ... these are holy things that do NOT require an organized religion to monitor them ... nor could they ever ...

A large body such as The Catholic Church enacting public policy out of thin air is acting as a government body and should be held responsible for their policies ... let them pay for each child they baptize craddle to grave ... when The Vatican (and every church) is living on potato soup, surrounded by their dependent masses, only then will they view this as a true public health crisis ... then the ragged little Cardinals and Priests will be running around dispensing condoms and birth control pills and free advice as fast as their little sandals can carry them ... right now they have ZERO responsibility for their actions ... how easy it is for celibate wealthy comfortable white males to hand down public policy when they hold NO financial responsiblity for it? ... "put your knees together my children and pray for strength" ... well, let them pray for their next meal, for the roof over their heads ... let them feel the results of their laws inflicted on the innocent ...

Who cleans up after us? ... you do ... I pay for my choices as well, but I do not inflict my choices on others causing them financial grief, poverty, and generations of servitude because of those choices ...
