Next week is W-Week for Gore.
I'm pretty sure various state's deadlines to get on the ballot start to come due this coming week. Plus it takes time to get the petitioning done and deal with all of requirements to get on the ballot in every state. If Gore intends to announce, for all intended purposes, next week will be the last week for him to announce.

Two questions:
1. Do you think he will announce this coming week?
2. If he doesn't announce, are you willing to put the bird to rest and support a different candidate?

1. NO, Gore will NOT run and we should let this good man BE.
He's done enough for us ... I wouldn't wish a man as honest and compassionate as Al Gore a second Presidential Campaign. Al's not duplicitous enough to WIN, that's why we admire him so very much. :patriot:

3. Just leave Al alone!!

JUST LEAVE AL ALONE!!!!

Enough of the whining about leave Al alone. He's a big guy out in the big public world fully capable of taking care of himself. If he feels harassed, he could end it in a heartbeat. He's using this support for his own means. Whether it's to run for president or to have some leverage with the current candidates, he's put himself in this position for a reason. He can take himself out of that position with one sentence.

2. I think he would run if HC was not in the race
Edited on Sat Oct-13-07 06:10 AM by goclark
I think that is exactly why he should run.

Gore doesn't seem to be friendly with the BUSH MOB, he is not afraid to say what he really feels.

Run Al run!

Gore is the only person that I would have a hard time not voting for ~ against OBAMA.

I love all the candidates, including HC but GORE just have special qualities that I admire.

And, he really was the President in 2000. :patriot:

6. Patience grasshopper, Gore will enter the race. He already said he does not
have to play the 600 day campaign game. He has said only the people could change his mind about running, and he has not ever said "NO, I will not run in 2008. The slow train cometh and cannot be stopped. Be prepared to hop aboard and ride with our rightful leader to the whitehouse.

Gore already won now he shall take back what is his!
