http://www.auburnjournal.com/articles/2007/10/10/news/top_stories/01kranz10.txtPlacer County Supervisor Bruce Kranz is asking Republicans to censure Ted Gaines, after the assemblyman made what he calls "hypocritical" public comments criticizing U.S. Rep. John Doolittle.
Kranz will present a resolution to the Placer County Republican Central Commit-tee tonight, condemning Gaines for standing arm and arm with Doolittle, R-Roseville, at a 2006 election night party and then publicly questioning the congressman's integrity.
"It is the hypocrisy issue that bothers me a lot," Kranz said. "(Gaines) stood arm in arm with Doolittle at (a 2006 joint Republican) victory party and now he has been in the media and on television criticizing John Doolittle - and that's political opportunism as far as I am concerned."

"These efforts raise serious constitutional issues going to the very core of our separation of powers created by the Founding Fathers," Barger said.......
